These are the last travel pics for a while as I’m back in Stockholm now. They were taken in St Louis in Senegal.

Crossing the border

A quick blog update. I arrived in Dakar yesterday after crossing the border Mali-Senegal by boat, a trip that was about 150 km, a rather scary trip by bushtaxi and a busride that was supposed to take 8 hours but was 12 hours in reality before I arrived in St Louis where I spent four days.The boattrip was easily the best part of the journey. The pirogue zigzagged between Senegal and Mauritania bringing people and commodities (mostly corn bags I think) to the market towns. The first picture is shoot in Senegal with Mauritania on the other side of the river.
